My road from I.T. to Author

As a little kid, I always loved reading.

The library was a sanctuary to go to every week to pickup as many books as possible .

A park was across the street and it too was full of memories I still remember to date.

Writing took a backseat since it wasn't seen as a great career by elders so IT sector it was. However, after having my kids I went back to my love of reading and writing to start off a children's book to discuss topics I wish were discussed when I was a kid. The first in my series is culture. In my generation we were told to be like chameleons blend in with the American society. Remove your accent and sound

like everyone else. I want kids of today not to feel that way. I want them to be like Zoey and be proud of their roots and culture and share with their friends, neighbors, and peers .
