Zoey Wonders Why and The Great Catastrophe Wins Big!!!

I’m so excited (and honestly still a little in disbelief) to share that Zoey Wonders Why and the Great Catastrophe has won their first award from Literary Titan. Seeing Zoey’s story recognized in this way truly means the world to me.

The Literary Titan Book Award celebrates children’s books that stand out for their strong storytelling, vibrant illustrations, memorable characters, and fresh ideas. Knowing that Zoey’s journey connected with the judges in such a meaningful way is incredibly humbling.

Out of many wonderful submissions, only forty-one children’s books were selected this year, covering a wide range of topics and experiences. To be included among them is both an honor and a reminder of why I wrote this story—to help kids navigate change, big feelings, and family challenges with curiosity and heart.

I’m deeply grateful to the readers, parents, educators, and librarians who have supported this book from the beginning. This award belongs to all of you who believed in Zoey and shared her story. Thank you for being part of this journey with me.
